Year 10 GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition

On Tuesday and Wednesday this week, both Y10 groups of GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition students took on the challenge of cooking two high skilled dishes in three hours, for their Mock NEA2 (Non-Examined Assessment) practical.


In preparation for this practical assessment, students researched suitable dishes and prepared a time plan, which they were then encouraged to follow for the cooking session. Following such a disrupted year, Y10 did a great job and produced some lovely dishes, which were then displayed to restaurant standard.


Well done Y10 and many thanks to all Parents/ Carers for providing ingredients and supporting these students.
