A fantastic day was had today in Cologne starting at the cathedral where Mr Johnson educated students on the biblical stain glass windows. Then students and teachers enjoyed a picknick in the sunshine by the river whilst brushing up on their conversational German ahead of the evening.
At the zoo Tate Workman, Finn Harris and Tyler Shearsby admired our distant relatives, whilst Callum Banthien, Imogen Angel and Josko Panek excelled in the competition learning the most items of new animal vocabulary. Marie Green, Evie du Bois and Daisy Aragon displayed their artistic skills in the photo competition. In the evening the Spaghetti-Eis was very well received and ordered in perfect German. Linguists of the day: Paul Hickey, Imogen Angel and Emily Levett.
